[This is the first time he's gotten a look at his back in the mirror, and he just freezes, because things like that don't just disappear, but they're gone now, entirely, and he's left gaping at himself in the mirror, tentatively feeling his back, which is smooth for the first time in--in a very long time. The shirt is pulled off entirely; he's not sure if he's excited or terrified.]
