Lithuania's Room, Sunday After Trivia

[Lithuania's distress is obvious--his door isn't closed entirely, and anyone could easily walk in while he's sprawled out on his bed with his face buried in his pillow. As if the stress wasn't getting to him enough, now he's messed up this, too. They lost a chance at a clue and it's his fault.

He buries his face more, like he's attempting to smother himself to put himself out of his misery.]

[Poland wraps his arms around Lithuania, gently running his fingers through the tips of Lithuania's hair.]

That's not always a bad thing.

[vytis]

[The feeling settles Lithuania down a little more--enough that he moves his head just enough to peek at Poland.]

Except for my stomach lining, right?

[notyetlost]

Well, maybe you could stand to chill out a little.

If only for that.

[vytis]

I have a lot of time to think here. [He plays with the hem of Poland's shirt idly.] When I'm not distracted, it's easy to start worrying about things.

[notyetlost]

I like to think I'm a decent distraction.

[vytis]

Well, yes. [Lithuania presses closer, looking for warmth and affection that might settle his nerves a little more. There was so little to rely on here that Poland's presence alone was comforting.] You're not just a distraction, though.

[notyetlost]

[Poland's more than happy to oblige Lithuania with that and hugs him tighter.]

What am I then?

[vytis]

[Lithuania can't find the words to explain it, but the heat rises to his face again as he tries to think of what to say.]

...You're Poland.

[And he likes Poland probably too much.]

[notyetlost]

[Poland laughs, resting his head in the crook of Lithuania's neck.]

Yeah and like. Don't ever forget it.

[vytis]

[Lithuania slides his fingers through Poland's hair.]

Stay here for a while? [He can't help but sound a little needy, saying that.]

[notyetlost]

I guess there's no where else in the house I'd rather be right now.
