[When Lithuania wakes up, he has to scrub his eyes. It isn't often he has dreams that bad or that vivid, but he doesn't think anything of it, walking around the quiet house, until he hears the television, and hears his name. Was that really-- But he's not gone, that's obvious enough. A mistake?]

A; phone (or action for 1333 Benny Road)
U-um, I'm still here, actually...

[Lithuania's tone is incredibly subdued. He's just not feeling up to much of anything right now.]

B; around Mayfield
[He's not entirely sure he actually has to go to work, if he's "not here". More importantly, there are more supplies in the store, so he should at least see to it that his house is stocked properly. He'll be out in the stores today. Of course, this just means a creepy doppleganger is taking supplies you could use, right?]

(OOC: Lithuania's disappeared, so respond to him as if he were a doppleganger!)

No no no, the fault lies with me this time. I should stop trying to pile everything up in my arms.

But signore, why do you look so upset?

(As far as Figaro knows, the drones have ALWAYS been happy and chirpy. There's something off on this guy too, so he must be a drone, right?

Unless...Figaro becomes distraught as he stumbles on the answer.)

Are you having troubles with a signora!?

[identity profile] bravabarber.livejournal.com 2011-12-17 03:11 pm (UTC)(link)
(Have you met Spain or Italy before Lithuania? Because Figaro's just like the country/countries he's from. Passionate, friendly, and no concept of personal space. He quickens his pace to keep up with the other man, concerned about his love problems.)

Signore, I can assure you that whatever problems you are suffering in relation to the other gender I can help solve. After all, it is my duty as the factotum of this town to assist it's citizens in all matters. Don't be shy, come tell Figaro what ails you.

(And he wraps an arm around Lithuania's shoulders.)

[identity profile] bravabarber.livejournal.com 2011-12-17 03:19 pm (UTC)(link)
(Figaro will not give up. He's now determined to help you out Lithuania.)

If it is not issues of love, then what is it that troubles you? Problems with gold, perhaps? Family dissent? Or...

...does it have to do with that strange announcement on the, umm, "Teevee", this morning?

[identity profile] bravabarber.livejournal.com 2011-12-17 03:26 pm (UTC)(link)
Ah, I see. Did someone you care about vanish as well?

(The smile is gone from his face, and he now looks slightly upset himself.)

I understand your pain, amigo. The girl staying at my place was on the list as well. She was very different from me, but her heart was in the right place. I will miss her.

But we cannot let their sacrifices be in vain, yes?

(And just like that, he's back to being energetic. He strikes a heroic poise.)

[identity profile] bravabarber.livejournal.com 2011-12-17 03:32 pm (UTC)(link)
Well, I haven't seen the girl around the house today. But then again, I do not see her that often either, so maybe...maybe she is still around.

Do you know anyone who hasn't disappeared but who was on that list, signore?

[identity profile] bravabarber.livejournal.com 2011-12-17 03:47 pm (UTC)(link)
Eh? You?

(He peers at the man opposite him. Yes, there was that odd feeling again that he's often associated with the drones. Perhaps this man was one of those replacements that the Teevee talked about? But he can't think of any time he's seen drones act sad. The vibe he's getting from Lithuania suits the drones, but his behavior doesn't seem to add up.

It's all very confusing to Figaro and in the end...

...he just gives Lithuania a clap on the back.)

Then you are one of the kind souls who agreed to sacrifice yourself for all of us! Vamanos, we must share a drink together!! My treat this time. After all, it's not often I meet someone who's noble enough to offer his life for others.

[identity profile] bravabarber.livejournal.com 2011-12-17 04:05 pm (UTC)(link)
Figaro, at your service.

(And with that, he steers Figaro out towards Olney's Tavern.)

[identity profile] bravabarber.livejournal.com 2011-12-17 04:36 pm (UTC)(link)
Eh, just Figaro will do. I'm not that old!

(He brings Lithuania to the bar and orders sangria; one for him, and the other for Lithuania. He passes one glass over to his new friend, before he raises his own glass.)

Salud, mi amigo!

(Down the hatchet it goes.)

[identity profile] bravabarber.livejournal.com 2011-12-17 05:04 pm (UTC)(link)
(Figaro notions to the bar tender for another two drinks, and passes another one to Lithuania.)

Who knows? I certainly hope not though.

[identity profile] bravabarber.livejournal.com 2011-12-17 05:25 pm (UTC)(link)
You sound like you've been here for awhile, signore Lithuania. Has this sort of event been pulled off by the town before?

(And another drink for Lithuania. If Lithuania hasn't noticed, Figaro seems to be very generous with drinks.)

Going to bed, will continue this tomorrow! Thanks and good night!

[identity profile] bravabarber.livejournal.com 2011-12-17 05:35 pm (UTC)(link)
(Those sangrias keep coming, huh?

Unfortunately Lithuania, it's not just mere generosity. Figaro's trying to get you drunk, or at least tipsy in hopes that he'll be able to figure out the truth, whether you're the real Lithuania or not.)

Oh, how has it done so? I am new here you see, so I do not know how this town works.

[identity profile] bravabarber.livejournal.com 2011-12-18 05:56 am (UTC)(link)
(And that's the beauty of sangria; you just keep drinking and drinking and drinking and then suddenly it hits you with the force of a bullet train.)

Ah, like the Thanksgiving fiasco we had a few weeks ago, si? Maria, that was the most horrible week of my life! A town should be filled with life and laughter, not death and destruction.

[identity profile] bravabarber.livejournal.com 2011-12-18 02:27 pm (UTC)(link)
Maria, they can do that!?

(Figaro shakes his head and passes another drink at Lithuania's direction.)

I'm certainly glad I was not around when that happened. I'm not a swordsman at all; I'm happily content to be the jester.
