[Well, it was obvious something had started happening, given the phone calls and also the being attacked by Koharu. Droning happened randomly, sometimes, but not this many... But it happened when you broke a rule, too, right? And drinking the milk was the law. So was that how it was going to be?

So far his house seemed quiet enough--no one had started happily murdering anyone else, though he would have to keep the girls inside so no one else did that to them.

But first, he's staring down the last bottle of Milkman-delivered milk in the house. He was emptying out all the others when it occurred to him.

Well, he's not going to let anyone else drink it.]

[His throat sounds very rough and strained. It's like he tried to swallow a razor blade or something.]

A-ah, I'm just checking up on everyone. Things seem d-dangerous right now. Miss Ukraine, Estija? [Pause to cough just a bit, and then a bit more of a pause because ow.] Um, if you have a chance, let me know how you're doing?

N-not yet. But I saw K-Koharu--she's the g-girl who lives with Miss Ukr-- [Coughing again. Those hard consonants are difficult right now.] Anyway, she was droned, but n-not normally.

[Lithuania, after a moment, decides he won't be any more stubborn and actually follows Estonia's suggestion for once.]

I think it sounds worse than it is. It's nothing that can kill me. How is your house, though?

I still think it's best you let your throat rest at least for the rest of the day. [He pauses, tapping his ever-present pen against his ever-present notepad. There's a bit of blood splatter on the page, just above where he transcribed Lithuania's message. It's lovely, really.]

There was only two of us who weren't drones already. Daniel was... a struggle. I'll have to remember to drink the milk tomorrow, since I don't think we can do round two of that.

At least for a while. Probably because the Milkman is the Police Chief.

The Milkman got elected mayor once before I got here, and that stopped eventually. So I think this will too, but I don't know when.

[He has at least gotten a lot of background information on the town in his time here, mostly because he asked America.]
