[Lithuania has been around the house all day, except for occasional fits when he'll walk several blocks in a circle. He isn't saying much--well, except when he's spouting off about what a great holiday this is and how they should all see fireworks later.

He knows something's wrong, it's like that droning thing he'd seen happen to other people, but it didn't happen all the way for him, and his mind fought violently against the intrusion of unwanted memories. After all, he had always lived in Mayfield, he'd never even been to Lithuania--

He scrubs the counter for the fifth time.]

I guess this is just Mayfield again, right...? So it'll go away soon... [He sounds unsteady.] Eduard, are you--no. Estonia. Are you alright? Miss--Miss Ukraine, what about you?

[He can't remember what they would be called in Lithuanian, the thinness in his voice is incredibly obvious.]

I hope the fireworks will be--No. Um, Miss Koharu, are you alright? I was talking to your m--

[He growls, frustrated.]

...Yes. And in my language... Ritoania. No, it would be better to use some other method... writing would be the best reminder... haaaahh, does their control really extend that far? To make us forget out own languages is... [ the truth is, he's terrified by the idea. but he can't admit to that. ]

That's precisely the sort of thing they would do, isn't it...? I think I will speak Japanese more than usual, as well. [ though since there's an automatic translator, there's usually no need for that, as that's what he speaks with his citizens and Taiwan at any rate. But still. ]
