[Lithuania has been around the house all day, except for occasional fits when he'll walk several blocks in a circle. He isn't saying much--well, except when he's spouting off about what a great holiday this is and how they should all see fireworks later.

He knows something's wrong, it's like that droning thing he'd seen happen to other people, but it didn't happen all the way for him, and his mind fought violently against the intrusion of unwanted memories. After all, he had always lived in Mayfield, he'd never even been to Lithuania--

No. No. No.

He scrubs the counter for the fifth time.]

I guess this is just Mayfield again, right...? So it'll go away soon... [He sounds unsteady.] Eduard, are you--no. Estonia. Are you alright? Miss--Miss Ukraine, what about you?

[He can't remember what they would be called in Lithuanian, the thinness in his voice is incredibly obvious.]

I hope the fireworks will be--No. Um, Miss Koharu, are you alright? I was talking to your m--

[He growls, frustrated.]

I could tell. Just remember you're Lietuva, though, and everything will work itself out soon enough. Mayfield only screws with us for a day or two at a time usually, right?

Usually. I--something like this can't last that long, right? Well, you don't seem too badly hit by it, at least?

No. It's... if I stop thinking about who I am, I start to think I'm not. It's not pleasant, to say the least.

With me it's like--there's two versions of me in my head, and they keep trying to push the other one out.

[And no one is surprised that Lithuania's apparent reaction to Mayfield brain events is "fight everything".]

[Wow what was that. But there's a pause and Lithuania is back.]

[Estonia's quiet a moment, then there's a moment of muttering in Estonian to make sure he can before he raises his voice again.]

Have you talked to Lyra or Madoka yet today?

[There's a very long pause as he resists the urge to say "of course I've spoken to my daughters" without knowing why he's fighting it, before he remembers.]

I had breakfast with them. But breakfast is a bit hazy...

She seems to be having the same problem I am. What about your--[Not family.] The people in the house with you?

Daniel's been droned for a few days. The kid's the same as ever. I haven't seen Raquel yet this morning, so I don't know.

You'll be alright? Maybe you could go over to Finland's place.

I'll see if him or Ukraina need me, I think. Maybe they're doing better off than you and I don't have to worry so much.

Sorry for being trouble. [He's trying to sound lighthearted, at least.] I should go around and check on everyone today, I suppose.

You wouldn't be you if you weren't trouble, Leedu. Why don't I come over for-- [No, see, he stopped thinking. And was about to invite himself over for Fourth of July dinner. Never mind that the Fourth of July doesn't mean all that much to him. Estonia actually shakes his head before continuing.]
